I LIIIIIIIIIIIIVE

But seriously guys, i haven't been able to get on the computer enough, on account to the fact that I still do not have a cord for my own laptop, but having a banging check coming up soon, so hopefully I'll be on here more often.

Shits been crazy, mom has two interviews this week, so we'll start getting so more money coming in here. Work for myself has been CRAZY, being back at a party supply store, Halloween kick our ass and having aunt flow visiting on the last week was a bitch. But all is good now, and next week I'll be recieving my check with my overtime for our last week. Which I'm pretty excited about, even though most the money will be gone after I get it lol, which i'll explain here in a bit.

Haven't made too many friends, had one girl from work I was hanging out with, but apparently gays scare her (though she reads man porn...hmm), but there's a few girls at work i've partied with and get along great with. One of them, Rachel went to the U2 concert with me a couple weeks ago as part of my birthday present. And for those who aren't fans, that's cool, but it was a bitchin' concert. The Black Eyed Peas opened for them and I'll just go ahead and say it, LOVED them. Didn't have the cash to pick up a teeshirt then, sadly, but it was a good experience all around. It was held on the campus of Oklahoma Unviersity in their football stadium and before anyone asks, OK doesn't have a professional team, so College football is a BIG DEAL. So much so, The Sooners(name of the team) of OU have a stadium that fits 80,000 people and the place was almost packed to the nosebleeds. Not a big fan of football, but I have to say the Sooners are converting me better than the Cowboys(team of OSU in Tulsa) becuase their school colors are Maroon and black. Sorry Cowboys, orange is not my color. You'd probably like them better, Ashley, lol. The campus is probably the most beautiful i've ever been, had the feel for a true unveristy life, the kind you see in movies. I've been looking over the place, but have yet to make any decisions. Need to get through community college first.

Halloween was alright, had the night off, so I stayed home, passing out candy in costume. Got two of them, one being Silk Spectre from Watchmen, though I hardly have the height on the actually chick, so sadly, isn't as sexy on me as it was her. The other was, and I know someone is going to give me shit for this, was a Starfleet uniform from the new Star Trek movie. It was kinda cool cause I found out the entire manager staff use to watch the old school original series, so they called me Uhura everytime I walked by. Sadly I did not paint myself green because that shit will get all over the place and I didn't want to clean it. (And yes, I am going to buy the new Star Trek movie the day it comes out and on BLU RAY becuase I got myself a fucking PS3 for my birthday and its the best thing ever!) My christmas present to myself this year is hopefully going to be a new tv for the room so I can watch my blu rays up in my room. Nothing too huge, but you don't get the full experience without a nice LCD. No plasma for me, kthx.

The only thing coming up soon, aside from work this weekend is on the 17th through the 19th I will be in the city known for being a mile high, aka Denver, Colorado. I am going to see the band i've seen for the last three years, going on four now, everytime they've been to the US. I'm talking about Dir en grey and I'm super excited. I'm meeting my friend ~cadkitten when I get there and her awesome friends. I'm not looking forward to the cold ass weather, mom tells me they've been in blizzard conditions the last few weeks, but i'll go to any lengths to see these guys. Their new single drops in December, which means the next album will be in the works shortly afterwards and I look forward to more work from these guys.

And on my final note, ending with music, I've been recently and absolutely addicted to the band Muse. Their newest CD dropped back in September and the song Uprising has been on repeat since I first heard it. I don't know why I have never listened to these guys religiously before, considering Resistance is their fifth full lenght album release, but I'm catching up with all of their past stuff too. (Hence the title and seriously guys, look up the song. Its pretty damn wicked)

So, that's all I have to report for now. I hope at some point I can get some stuff up on here soon. Been sketching and writing a bit, so time will only tell.
